Grant Scheme for Upgrading Outdoor Facilities and Facades of Recreation Centres

Competent Body: Cyprus Tourism Organisation.

Application Submission Deadline: 09/09/2019.

Aim:

Improvement, upgrading, landscaping and modernization of the licensed exterior spaces and facades of the Recreation Centres for the aesthetic enhancement and upgrading of the Cyprus tourism product.

Eligible Applicants:

Entrepreneurs, natural or legal persons of Recreation Centres which operate independently and during the last 3 years, for a period that exceeds the 8 months each year.
The centres should have been ranked for at least the last 3 years based on the Recreation Centres Legislation which on the day of application, have an authorization to operate by the Ministry of Tourism for the year 2018 or 2019.

Eligible Expenditure:

Replacement of outdoor furniture (e.g. tables, chairs). The replaced furniture cannot be stored or reused but will be permanently removed from the Recreation Area.
Revamp and upgrade of the business signs targeting maximum limit of two signs.
Replacement and removal, maintenance/upgrade of other equipment of the licensed outdoor space of the Recreation facility such as, lamps, illuminated price list frame and empty shades.
Makeover and renovate outside areas (replacement) of, e.g. visible decorative elements, plants/flower arrangements, auxiliary serving furniture, outdoor fencing, visible landscaping and general maintenance of outdoor facilities and facades of Recreation Centres.
Services of a professional designer or architect in relation to the eligible costs.

Grant Amount:

Grant is up to the 50% of the total eligible expenditure before TAX, with maximum grant of €20.000 and a minimum investment of €20.000.
